Arrow Resources Development, Inc., through its strategic partners in Indonesia is carrying out large-scale operations to develop timber, subsistence farming and other natural resources in the Asian Pacific Market.

This grouping of strategic companies was brought together by Indonesian entrepreneur, Hans Karundeng, who is the principal shareholder in Arrow and a member of the management of the J.V. Partners. Mr. Karundeng's direct experience with the impact of negative agricultural practices in the area where he grew up, led him to create and support endeavors that are dedicated to bringing a balance between successful commerce and environmental and cultural stewardship.

Arrow Pacific Resources Group Limited and P.T.  Tiga daun Nusantara operates, with its joint-venture partners, all of the on-the-ground, day-to-day plantation operations, all infrastructural development operations and all shipping operations as they relate to the overall plan. Arrow Pacific is lead by a team of highly qualified professionals with experience in the fields of plantation management, agro-law, material science and analysis, agriculture, and forestry. The team will contract all labor, heavy equipment, transportation, shipping and the eventual development of paper and pulp manufacturing facilities. Several members of the team hold close affiliations with organizations such as the Timber Association of Sabah, the National Sub-committee on Fiscal Incentives of Forest Plantations in Malaysia and the Scientific and Technical Committee of The Association Technique Internationale des Bois Tepicaux. Gerakan Masyarakat Pelestari Lingkungan Hidup (GMPLH) is the largest non-profit organization in Indonesia. It is an educational organization that acts as project developer, fundraiser, and project expeditor for agricultural and environmental projects throughout Indonesia. Since its inception, GMPLH has sponsored and completed more than 25 large-scale agricultural and educational projects resulting in the planting of more than 600 million trees throughout Indonesia. The GMPLH charter "has its noble purpose which it calls its five Human Goals, that is: as human guardian, protector, developer, pioneer, and maintainer of natural resources and living environments for continued support and development with its environmental vision, continually and responsibility for a healthy environment for the Indonesian people."

GMPLH has been initially granted land licenses by the Indonesian government for more than 1.8 million hectares (ha) (3.75 million acres) for a program that will ultimately include 3 million ha as part of large-scale reforestation effort. The actual operations on the ground which include harvesting, land preparation, and planting of both a eucalyptus tree plantation and a large-scale agricultural operation will be undertaken by P.T. Tiga daun Nusantara. (top)
